The beauty of God is seen through His mighty hands at work.Never underestimate His preciousness.

A beautiful day that He set forth for the day. While not having the opportunity to visit with many people – being busy tending to the children’s needs from day to day.A day like today doesn’t come around very often.

Beautiful weather.Beautiful worship of our Maker.

Wind blowing through my hair.Sitting in the luscious green grass chatting with my sister and husband.

Visiting with beautiful people throughout the afternoon and evening, including a cousin and his wife that at the most before tonight probably have only said the words “hi” to.Giving all praises to God for coordinating the day in such a way that  could of never been done so myself. Family becomes more and more precious to me as I grow older.

(My adorable nieces.)

(My sister and brother-n-law’s car cracks me up every time.Swaying and rocking just like a boat out at sea.Paul took me on an anniversary date with this boat a few years back. One of my best anniversary date memories I have.)

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his;we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;his faithfulness continues through all generations.Psalm 100;1-5

Be full of joy in the Lord always. I will say again, be full of joy.Philippians 4;4

But in all these things we are completely victorious through God who showed his love for us. Yes, I am sure that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor ruling spirits, nothing now, nothing in the future, no powers, nothing above us, nothing below us, nor anything else in the whole world will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8;37-39

Words of wisdom always brings a sense of contentment from within.Words from his kingdom that will reign forever and ever.

With the weather being so saturated with beauty,it’s really tough keeping up with my photographs. The outdoors is one of my best friends.

Every year after attending my first track meet,I find myself making these big plans on running with a breeze just like the ones on the track field.Somehow it never works out.

(My nephew getting first in all three of his events.)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” -Romans 8:28

It’s been awhile since I’ve been here.Life is busy with swirls of activities. We stay hopping while attending to our children’s needs and activities.

Watching nephews and a niece in their sporting events as well. They grow up so fast.

We are now getting ready for scholastic bowl.By far the most productive sport in school.

Volleyball season is almost done.Valerie is done with chearleading.A sigh of relief.Thanking God that she was never dropped while being hoisted into the air.

The boys’ season of basketball is wrapping up.That is a dark and heavy cloud lifted off of our shoulders. We wanted to keep a Godly perspective in all of it.To see God in the midst of it all.To have trusting heart like a child. To listen to His leading. We must remember God does everything in his own timing for our own good. God told us to handle everything in prayer. We must teach our children to do likewise. Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.1 Chronicles 6;11

Written on my chalkboard-Peace is a calm confidence that the Lord of the mountains is still on the throne no matter how deep the valley may be.-Gwen Smith

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him.Psalm 37;7

I drove forty miles.Found what I was looking for. Purchased my items.Skipped out to my car toting my bag of letters. Drove forty miles back to home. Sorted my letters.Ughh! How did I do that. Two L’s.Seriously! Now that my friends is a good recipe for destroying your time.

On a positive note at least something good came out of my wasted time.

In memory of Rick this year at Kuhns Christmas.

Rick’s mother said it’s been difficult this past Christmas season. She shared that the night before she could see Rick’s face so vividly, but he just wasn’t there. A broken and hurting heart whispered so distinctly in her voice. May we never cease in our prayers for the hurting.

Pray without ceasing.1Thessalonians 5;17

My (big) little cute nephew.

This day and many years ago the real true gift came in a manger in Bethlehem.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.Luke 2;11

December 22,2011

(I set my camera settings and asked a guy that was cleaning the beach to capture this for us.)

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save His people from their sins. Matthew 1;21

O Come let us adore Him,Christ the Lord. The Prince of Peace.

Peace I leave with you;my peace I give you.I do not give to you as the world gives.Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.John 14;27

Wishing everyone a blessed Merry Christmas.

People will come and go.People will let you down. They will delight themselves in ridicule and mockery of others. There will be storms in life. But there is one reality that never changes.God is love. His love is eternal.God’s love never changes.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2;20

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud.Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always endures.1 Corinthians 13;4-7

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.Matthew 5;44

Let us remember all the families in prayer that have lost loved ones this past year. There are so many young ones that have gone on before us.

I vividly remember my nephew Richard last Christmas silently walking around at Kuhns Christmas. You could tell he was unsettled.Something wasn’t right for him.He was kid with a heart for others. Finally his mother suggested what was wrong. It was mid afternoon and his brother Wilbur from Colorado had not arrived yet.He did finally arrive late afternoon. With broken hearts the family must go on knowing he himself will never arrive.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.Psalm 34;18

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.Revelations 21;24

(It was just to cute to not have in my house.)

(The bottom of Eric’s Christmas list.)

(You have to love boys/guys wrapping skills.I assured Eric that it was still better than my brother Larry’s wrapping job a few years ago. That’s a moment that won’t be forgotten.Good family times. What I love the most.)
