People will come and go.People will let you down. They will delight themselves in ridicule and mockery of others. There will be storms in life. But there is one reality that never changes.God is love. His love is eternal.God’s love never changes.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2;20
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud.Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not count up wrongs that have been done. Love takes no pleasure in evil but rejoices over the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always endures.1 Corinthians 13;4-7
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.Matthew 5;44

Let us remember all the families in prayer that have lost loved ones this past year. There are so many young ones that have gone on before us.
I vividly remember my nephew Richard last Christmas silently walking around at Kuhns Christmas. You could tell he was unsettled.Something wasn’t right for him.He was kid with a heart for others. Finally his mother suggested what was wrong. It was mid afternoon and his brother Wilbur from Colorado had not arrived yet.He did finally arrive late afternoon. With broken hearts the family must go on knowing he himself will never arrive.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.Psalm 34;18
He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.Revelations 21;24

(It was just to cute to not have in my house.)

(The bottom of Eric’s Christmas list.)

(You have to love boys/guys wrapping skills.I assured Eric that it was still better than my brother Larry’s wrapping job a few years ago. That’s a moment that won’t be forgotten.Good family times. What I love the most.)
